educated and uneducated, all are born with this natural urge. So, it is an issue for all individuals.
What is this goal? First of all, it is to find out one’s own Creator, to understand the creation plan of
comforts and pleasure. In the modern world the problem of boredom has become widespread. That being so, what is the use of eternal Paradise?”
People who do not believe in the Hereafter say such things repeatedly
knowledgeable is so because of his thinking. Knowledge flows from man’s thinking. You cannot be aware about what you do not think about.
Man is able to focus only on immediate compulsions because of his limitations
he is alone and when he is in public, he does not fail to mention it whatever the occasion.
This is what it means to make something one’s sole concern. The person who makes God his sole concern is destined
about the phenomenon of death.
Each of us must seriously think and decide about how, in what direction and for what purpose we want to spend this temporary life of ours in this present world. This decision
as are unaffected by darkness or light and which go on documenting our lives without interruption.
What happens is very similar to the fate of erring drivers, who blatantly commit traffic offences, unaware
a man of his ineluctably being called to account on that fateful day, it is impossible to imagine what would, in the last analysis, cause the scales to fall from his eyes.
The Concept of the Afterlife
and later, at God’s command, they will be reassembled and again take the shape of a human being. What is so extraordinary about a happening, which so constantly repeats itself?
Even in the world of matter
look at the matter from another angle. If doubts occur concerning life after death, it is because what we imagine
everything proceeding in due course towards its destination, but, as for himself, he has no idea of what he should do, or where he should go.
Another, more important characteristic which distinguishes man
but these have proved woefully inadequate in dealing with the basic issue in life—the question of what course of action to adopt.
has been attributed to Prophet Mohammad: “Surely, you have a sublime character” (The Quran, 68:4). What does this “sublime character” consist of? It is the capacity always to be guided by high moral principles
not react violently in an adverse situation, nor does it indulge in vengeful retaliation. This is what is known as being ‘a man of principle.’ It was this type of human being that Prophet Mohammed urged
our Guardian. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of those who forgive. Ordain for us what is good, both in this life and in the Hereafter. To You alone we have turned in repentance. (7:155-156)
